Fernanda Toro

I chose to study Art History and Theory in a moment of my life while i was studying cultural affairs at the Universidad Catolica in 2012. In these times i knew a lot of subjects about art and aesthetic. It was a discovery for me, understand art themes from other sites, a new way to see. I learnt about cinema, photography, memory and heritage. It was in this exact moment when i knew that i wanted to study Art History and Theory.  It was a new tool that made me know art, culture, heritage and a lot of knowledge. A tool that brings different posibilities to get on objects of study. In 2016 i began to study this at the Universidad of Chile. And now i am in my last year of study.

Hello, I am Fer. I was born in Santiago,Chile. My mother, Haydee Baltera is from Chile and father, Ricardo Toro, too. He died two years ago. I have two sister Alejandra and Francesca and one brother, Francisco. Francesca lives in Berlin almost ten years and Francisco just three. They are looking for another ways to live, maybe simple life, better quality life and another possibilities that in Chile is not possible. I was in the same way ten years ago when i was living for two years in different countries: Spain, Andorra and Germany, working and traveling. When i am back i started to find another course in my field of work, not anymore in science but yes, in humanities field. About my studies: When i was young, in primary school, i studied in two school: Divina Pastora and Alexander Fleming. And for secondary school i continued my study in the last one.
